Data company pricing page redesign

Turning a wall of data into a decision-making tool. When OwnBackup's pricing page was little more than a long spreadsheet, I took the initiative to research and propose a new structure, one that helps potential customers quickly understand their options and move toward a decision.

Organized overview and details

  • Easy to navigate tab organization

  • Easy to scan plan details

Competitive audit

To find the right direction, I analyzed how other tech vendors structure their pricing pages. One thing was clear: pricing pages carry a vast amount of information that needs careful organization to be useful. Key patterns I observed:

  • Sizing and color hierarchy to guide the eye

  • Tabs and columns to organize tiers and features

  • Highlighted fields to draw attention to recommended plans

  • Collapsible sections for additional detail without overwhelming the page

  • Help buttons for live chat, because alleviating apprehension in the moment is far better than losing a customer to a competitor
